Bio: Salwa is an Arabic teacher and a conversation partner to non-native speakers at Natakallam. She also gives refugee voices sessions at schools. Salwa holds a BA in English teaching and literature and an MA in TEFL from An-Najah National University in Palestine. Additionally, she has been awarded many scholarships and awards, such as the Online Professional English Network scholarship and the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Award (FLTA). The Fulbright allowed her to travel to the USA in 2021 to teach Arabic at University of North Carolina–Wilmington, where she met teachers and students from all parts of the world.
