Bio: Mirvat holds a master’s degree in educational management from the University of Balamand, Lebanon. In September 2023, she was appointed as Academic Director at Rawdat El Fayhaa Secondary School in Tripoli, Lebanon. Mirvat has 22 years of experience in education, having begun her career in 2001 as a French language teacher in the Lebanese school system. From 2007 to 2023, she served in different roles as an academic quality controller, middle and secondary school principal and academic director, and trainer for the Center for Educational Research and Development at the Lebanese Ministry of Education (since 2012), and also with Imagine Education UK and the British Council. Mirvat has extensive experience training on a broad range of topics, including curriculum & instruction, social-emotional learning, inclusive pedagogies, critical thinking, curriculum mapping, managing change and instructional leadership.
