Bio: Amani is an assistant professor at Al Quds Open University, Palestine, currently working for the Faculty of Educational Sciences. Amani has a PhD in curriculum and methods of teaching mathematics from Yarmouk University, Jordan, and a master’s degree in mathematics teaching methods from Al Quds-Bard College, Palestine. In addition to teaching math in K-12 and university,  she has trained teachers in schools in Palestine. Amani’s varied research interests  include topics such as elementary and early childhood education, assessment, mathematical thinking, commognitive discourse, learning technologies, and teacher education. She has published several research papers in local and international journals.
