Bio: May holds an MA in education in curriculum planning and development from the University of Balamand and is currently pursuing a doctorate in education at Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), Spain. She teaches part-time at the Modern University of Business and Science (MUBS) and is an educational consultant for language curriculum planning and development at Lycee National Schools. With over 25 years of experience in education, her research focuses on assessment, writing processes, rubrics, literacy, student agency, and feedback. She has published in Assessing Writing, Journal of English Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics, English Teaching Forum, and The American Biology Teacher.
